
Honcharova Yuliia Anatoliivna – is the Dean of the Faculty of International Trade and Law at the State University of Trade and Economics, Candidate of Legal Sciences, Associate Professor, gender equality expert, and Project Coordinator of the Erasmus+ Jean Monnet Module «Empowering Women in Europe for Achieving the Union of Equality» (2022–2025).
Yuliia Anatoliivna Honcharova was born in Kyiv on 9 August 1986.
In 2008, she graduated from the Institute of International Relations of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, earning a Bachelor’s degree in International Law.
In 2010, she obtained a Master’s degree in Foreign Policy from the Hennadii Udovenko Diplomatic Academy of Ukraine under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.
From 2012 to 2016, she pursued postgraduate studies and, in 2017, successfully defended her Candidate of Legal Sciences dissertation in the field of International Law at the V. M. Koretsky Institute of State and Law of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. Her dissertation was entitled «The Place and Role of the Principle of Gender Equality in Contemporary International Law».
Since 2018, she has served as Deputy Dean, and since 2020, as Dean of the Faculty of International Trade and Law at the State University of Trade and Economics.
From 2023 to 2025, she served as the Gender Equality Commissioner at the State University of Trade and Economics.
Between 2022 and 2025, she delivered training sessions within the Erasmus+ Jean Monnet Modules «Empowering Women in Europe for Achieving the Union of Equality» and «EU Gender Security».
She participated in the sixth and seventh phases of the «Innovative University and Leadership» Project (2022 and 2024).
Since 2022, she has been a member of the NGO «Innovative University».
From 2019 to 2020, she served as a member of the Commission responsible for conducting the open competition for the selection of candidates for appointment by the President of Ukraine to the High Council of Justice.
