Marchenko Oksana Yuriivna – is a Doctor of Sciences in Physical Education and Sports, Professor, Director of the «Institute of Health, Rehabilitation and Physical Education», and a Master of Sport in swimming. She is open to scientific collaboration and expert cooperation and has significant managerial and teaching experience, including positions as Head of Department and Vice-Rector for Academic and Research Work. Her research interests include physical education across different population groups, gender aspects in physical education, and physical activity among student and school youth. She is the leader of the Erasmus+ project «Genderwise», aimed at promoting gender equality and supporting the development of dual careers for young female athletes aged 14–26.
She is also a member of the editorial board of the Ukrainian professional journal «Sports Medicine, Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy». Oksana Yuriyivna Marchenko has been awarded honors from the city council and the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.
