
Ferents Sofia Bohdanivna is a member of the public «Woman’s Tribune» and an analyst for the «Free Choice» project.
She was born on October 16, 2005, in Khmelnytskyi. From 2013 to 2023, she studied at Secondary Lyceum No. 2 of the Khmelnytskyi City Council, which she graduated from with a gold medal. Since 2023, she has been a student at the Faculty of Law of the «Kyiv National University of Construction and Architecture». In 2019, she was awarded a scholarship by the Khmelnytskyi City Council. In 2022, she participated in research activities of the Minor Academy of Sciences of Ukraine in the field of jurisprudence, with the topic «Peculiarities of the Organization and Functioning of Family-Type Children's Homes in Ukraine», and received first-degree diplomas for winning the first and second stages of the All-Ukrainian competition for research works of students of the Minor Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. In the same year, she became the youngest participant in the socio-patriotic project «Women Who Impress During the War». In 2023, she presented and defended a research project for the Minor Academy of Sciences of Ukraine on the topic «Formation and Development of the Volunteering Movement in Ukraine in 2004–2022». In 2023, she received the Mayor's Award «For Significant Achievements of Youth in the Development of the Khmelnytskyi City Territorial Community in Various Spheres of Social Life». Since 2023, she has been a member and volunteer of the NGO «Mystetska Sotnia Haydamaky». In 2023, she received a certificate confirming the improvement of her professional competence (1.0 ECTS credit) from the Kyiv National University of Construction and Architecture and the Cracow University of Technology. Since 2025, she has been a member of the public organization «Woman's Tribune». Since 2022, she has actively participated in scientific events of the V. M. Koretsky Institute of State and Law of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, the Foundation for Institutional Development of Ukrainian Science, Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, the Kyiv National University of Construction and Architecture, Uzhhorod National University, and other institutions. Since 2022, she has worked as an analyst of the «Free Choice» project. Since 2025, she has been a member of the Association of Ukrainian Lawyers. Since 2023, she has actively cooperated with parliamentary bodies, participating in panel discussions of parliamentary committees and temporary special commissions, and contributing to legislative drafting activities.
Her research interests include legal theory, constitutional law, electoral law and process, protection of fundamental human rights, international public law, constitutional procedural law, philosophy of law, sociology of law, and the legislative process.
