At the National Bar Association of Ukraine, Yuliia Anatoliivna Honcharova and Natalia Oleksandrivna Kleshchenko, members of the NGO «Woman’s Tribune», participated in the Roundtable Discussion «Borders Without Barriers for Families of Children with Disabilities». The event was organized at the initiative of the All-Ukrainian Public Organization of Persons with Disabilities «Human Rights Union of Persons with Disabilities», in cooperation with the Committee on the Protection of the Rights of Persons with Disabilities of the National Bar Association of Ukraine, the NGO «Dobrobat», the NGO «Friends of Ukraine», and the NGO «League of Justice of Ukraine». More than 500 participants joined the event online, while over 50 attended in person, including representatives of government authorities, Members of Parliament, civil society organizations, attorneys, and veterans. The purpose of the roundtable was to discuss the current legislation of Ukraine and develop legislative initiatives concerning the rules governing the crossing of the state border by Ukrainian citizens, particularly legal guardians and parents of persons with disabilities.
